Wizkid to design, launch jewellery line this year
Renowned Nigerian Afrobeat artist Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed his venture into the luxury jewellery industry.
In an interview with journalist Adesope Olajide at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, Wizkid announced his intention to start a jewellery collection, some of which he will personally design.

Wizkid, the creator of the Starboy brand, will also be hosting his More Love, Less Ego concert at the stadium on June 29, 2023, with a capacity of 80,000 people. During the interview, he showcased a diamond neck chain and pendant that he had collaborated on with celebrity designer Eliantte.
The talented singer explained that the neckpiece he was wearing is the first of six chains set to be launched this year, indicating his foray into the luxury jewellery market.

The neckpiece he was wearing, according to him, is the first of six chains that will be launched this year.
“This is actually the first piece that I designed, myself with Eliantte the jeweller. This is the first of six pieces that I’m making this year, and yeah I’ll start up my jewellery line,” Wizkid said in response to a question about the expensive accessory.
