Will There Be an Atlas 2 Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

Jennifer Lopez’s Atlas recently dropped on Netflix. As is the case with many Hollywood movies these days, fans are wondering if an Atlas 2 is coming out and whether there is a release date set. The first Atlas movie saw Lopez’s Atlas come into conflict with Harlan, an AI terrorist with whom she has a past connection.

Is there an Atlas 2 release date?

Atlas 2 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.

Atlas’ ending appeared to set up an Atlas 2, even though Netfix and the film’s creators have not yet confirmed its eventuality. The ending saw Atlas become a ranger and take on the task of testing a new ARC robot, with the robot’s AI voice confirming Smith’s survival, even though he appeared to die and shut down permanently at the end of the film after being heavily damaged.

Moreover, even though the main villain Harlan appeared to perish at the end of the film, it is very possible that he survived, given how in the film one of the AI-robots Casca did not appear to die even after facing death-sentencing situations. Thus, an Atlas 2 could explore Harlan’s possible survival and continued mission to exterminate humanity.

An Atlas 2 has not been confirmed so there is no confirmed cast. However, Jennifer Lopez could reprise her role of Atlas.

Where is Atlas 2 coming out?

Atlas 2 could come out on Netflix.

This is because the first Atlas movie came out on Netflix, thus establishing the streamer as its home. Assuming that the same pattern repeats, then Atlas 2 could also come out on Netflix.

Since Atlas 2 has not been confirmed, it is unknown what the plot will be, as mentioned above, however, it could focus on Atlas and Smith’s continued adventures and Harlan’s possible return.
