This achievement is best combinable with a travel to Sagittarius A* for the Center of the Galaxy achievement. You will obtain both achievements along the way.
If you've already done the trip, this achievement will unlock while loading into Elite.

Just tried to load up the game and had a bunch of achievements auto-pop... but not this one, or the 1,000 LY one. Guess this means I'll need another long trip if it doesn't pop once I finally update the game.Posted by

^this. Only this time I'll strip my Conda of everything and make it a one-way trip with a nice little self destruction once the achievement pops. :)Posted by

It pops when actually logging in and seeing your ship spin around while loading in.Posted by

That's good. Fewer Sag A runs in my life, the better.Posted by

TFFT! I'm done with exploring and didn't want to have to head out to the Core for a third time!Posted by

Either LHS 3447 or Asellus Primus. There is a stat under 'exploration' which will show you the max distance from start.Posted by

If you happen to hitch a ride on a Fleet Carrier, this didn't update for me until I undocked from the Fleet Carrier, docked at a station, saved/exited the game, and re-entered the game. I was worried the Fleet Carrier ride did something to void it, but it was all good after the previously-mentioned steps.Posted by
