What to you play, 7 wood, hybrid or 3 iron

Still got my 18° 2 Iron which gets a little run out now and again at the seaside but that doesn't make me a good player I've got a nice little 5 wood and a 7 wood which are currently in the bag. The crazy thing is that these 'modern' clubs have the same loft on then as an old 4 wood and 5 wood I have tucked away in the rafters. Twenty years ago I'd never have played a 7 wood, but since it's now as strong as the 5wood I had in the mid nineties who's kidding who ? Anyone else remember when a 3 wood was 13° loft. You can get Drivers with that loft now.

My current bag has developed to suit my play round my course, I'm not interested in what the number on the clubhead says, it's the distance the club gets that's important.
