Niantic announced today that Pokemon Go will be receiving two new variants of Legendary Pokemon, namely Shadow Apex Lugia and Shadow Apex Ho-Oh and fans are eager to learn more about them.

If you are an avid Pokemon Go player, you might be well aware of the Shadow variants of Pokemon available in the game. These Pokemon are modified by Team Rocket, and they are way more powerful than the regular ones. They have a modified appearance, with a darker and scarier color theme. Now, the developers have decided to introduce another variant of Pokemon in the game.
What Is Apex Lugia, Ho-Oh In Pokemon Go New Moves Purification Explained
Niantic has decided to take this even further by introducing Apex Shadow Pokemon, which are even powerful variants of the already available Shadow Pokemon. So far, it has only announced Apex Shadow Lugia and Apex Shadow Ho-Oh in the game. Niantic states that “By using the stolen power that was locked away behind the mysterious door, we’ve heard reports that Arlo has created even more powerful Shadow Pokémon.”
Apex Shadow Ho Oh will be featuring a new move, which is Sacred Fire+, a stronger variant of Sacred Fire. When Apex Shadow Ho-Oh is purified, Sacred Fire+ gets replaced by Sacred Fire++. Here are the stats for the same.

- Trainer Battles: 130 power
- Gyms and raids: 135 power
Sacred Fire++
- Trainer Battles: 130 power
- Gyms and raids: 155 power
Apex Shadow Lugia will be featuring a new move, which is Aeroblast+, a stronger variant of Aeroblast. When Apex Shadow Lugia is purified, Aeroblast+ gets replaced by Aeroblast+. Here are the stats for the same.

- Gyms and raids: 200 power
Aeroblast++
- Trainer Battles: 170 power
