I'm currently obsessed with a uniform.

For me, that's like a great pair of high waisted jeans,

a perfect collared shirt.

It just takes all of the effort

out of getting dressed in the morning

and really gives me a strong sense of self.

What I love about collared shirts is that

they're so versatile.

I love rolling the sleeves up,

wearing them in linen when they're a little bit

sheer and lightweight and wrinkled.

I love knotting them at my waist.

I love throwing them over a swimsuit.

I feel like all spring and all summer,

I live in collared shirts.

I love shopping on eBay because I feel like

if you know specifically what you're looking for,

it's really, really easy to find an amazing selection.

So, if I know that I love J.Crew

and I love Vince and I'm looking for a great collared shirt,

I feel like when I'm looking for

the perfect high waisted jeans,

it's all about how they fit.

If I find the perfect jean, I'll buy it in every wash.

The length and the way that they hit your ankle

is really important.

I think an ankle bone is actually

a really sexy part of a woman's body.

Ankle bone's the new cleavage.

When I'm designing mules,

I'm pretty particular about where they kind of

stop on your foot,

the difference between it being super flattering or not.

Mules are really versatile and easy,

and I feel like they just kind of complete my uniform.

I think everyone should figure out

what works for them and their body.

It should be comfortable and really

be able to wear your clothes.
