[Watch] Virat Kohli does the viral ‘Pushparaj Thaggede Le’ step in 100th Test
As India were closing in on winning the first Test match against Sri Lanka in Mohali, Virat Kohli did the viral step of ‘Pushparaj Thaggede Le’ step of Allu Arjun from his movie Pushpa on March 6.
India was confirmed of winning the first Test and there seemed to be some boredom during the match. Virat Kohli was also gesturing to the crowd to make some noise, to which the crowd reciprocated. In his 100th Test, Kohli did something and the camera personnel captured it.
He was seen doing the famous and viral step ‘Pushparaj Thaggede Le’ of Allu Arjun starred blockbuster movie Pushpa. The step involves rubbing off the top of one’s hand against the chin. The movie was released two months ago. Many celebrities have tried recreating the steps, from dancing to the song and lip-synching the dialogues and cricketers are not left behind. David Warner and Ravindra Jadeja have also shown their own versions. Virat Kohli also did another step of the song ‘Srivalli’ from the same movie after a difficult catch in an ODI match against West Indies.

Virat Kohli wins 100th Test
The newly-appointed Test captain Rohit Sharma led India grabbed the lead of 400 runs after bowling out Sri Lanka for 174 runs. Then the captain decided to enforce the follow-on, which was proved effective since India bowled out the visitors again for 178 runs.
India got an easy win by an inning and 222 runs on Day 3 against the Lankans, leading by 1-0 in the two-match Test series.
This match was the fifth-largest win for the Indians in Test. The second Test will be played in Bengaluru from March 12 with the pink ball under the floodlights.
