Watch Paris Saint-Germain stars Neymar, Cavani and Verratti join flight crew in embarrassing advert – talkSPORT

Footballers and acting generally don’t go well together.

When David Beckham made his Hollywood debut in Guy Ritchie’s film, ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Stone’, critics tore into his performance.

However, that hasn’t stopped Paris Saint-Germain from trying their hand at it!

In partnership with Emirates Airline, the French champions have created a new advert featuring several star players as members of a cabin crew.

The video sees Neymar and Cavani alongside Adrien Rabiot, Marco Verratti and Thiago Silva wearing pilot outfits and enjoy a kickabout on board ‘Emirates flight number 4-3-3’.

The ‘captain’ talks over the clip, saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking.

“Welcome to today's Emirates flight number 4-3-3.

“Joining me today we have an international crew of eight different nationalities that will entertain you for 90 minutes.

"Our entertainment programme offers renowned shows from over the world.

"In a few moments, we'll be ready for the kick-off.

"And remember, in the unlikely event of some turbulence during the match, please start chanting: "Ici c'est Paris!"

While PSG might be soaring high domestically, they came crashing back to the ground during their Champions League game against Real Madrid when they were beaten 3-1.
