Hi, I'm Lady Gaga and I'm at my

Woman of the Year Glamour cover shoot.

I was shooting today with Patrick Demarchelier

and I'm just a huge fan of his work

and I believe in him as a photographer.

So it's about pushing myself to inspire him on a shoot

and make him feel excited about what he does

and show him things that maybe he hasn't

seen before and make some new things together.

I never felt beautiful on my own, ever.

It was always lipstick and wigs and clothing that helped me

to find my sense of beauty and I think that that's okay.

I feel really blessed now to have changed

and gone through a lot of things to make me feel

more comfortable with who I am.

I see that potential in all of my fans

and that's really what Artpop is about.

If you like to draw, that's a talent and you know

that you should follow that talent instead of feeling

like maybe you'd be better off being a doctor

or better off going to business school.

Creativity's important and don't push the light down.

Let it shine bright, Artpop.

The best part of being me is my fans.

I have a lot of them, and I'm very lucky to have them all.

They really are full of joy and happiness

and I just want to make music that makes them happy.

I feel really honored that Glamour chose me

for Woman of the Year because glamor for me

comes from the inside and it's about your heart

and it's about what you do with the voice that you have,

not so much how it looks.
