The news of David allegedly being charged with child abuse in a case involving Janelle's 14-year-old son Jace came out on Tuesday, October 24. Jenelle took to her Instagram the next day to call the media outlet's reporting a "lie".

Jenelle wrote in her Instagram story on Wednesday night, "Once again media lying again (a laughing emoji) it's getting insane at this point." She went on to take the names of each outlet as she asked fans not to believe them.

"Don't believe The Sun or The Ashley or these stupid 'Teen Mom' fanpages because like I said they get stupid sources and don't fact check beforehand," Jenelle said regarding the alleged child abuse case.

'Teen Mom' star Jenelle Evans called out for not supporting with CPS custody

Jenelle got custody of Jace from her mother Barbara in March 2023. However, in late September, Jace was placed under the care of Child Protection Services (CPS).

In order to make the investigation smooth, Jenelle's other children, Kaiser and Ensley, were also brought in for questioning.

According to the reports, the reality TV star seems to be not supporting CPS. She was scolded by one of the case workers for making the investigation difficult for them.

As per the reports, CPS officially has custody of Jace, 14, and his grandmother Barbara has again brought into the scene to take care of the child.

Jace has also been removed from his home since CPS continues to investigate.

Jenelle has 3 children. Jace the oldest is followed by Kaiser and Ensley.
