Victim of fatal forklift incident at Plainfield Amazon warehouse identified
One person died in a forklift incident at the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Perry Road Sunday afternoon.
PLAINFIELD, Ind. (WTHR) - One person died in a forklift incident at the Amazon Fulfillment Center on Perry Road Sunday afternoon.
Plainfield medics were called to the plant at 2:46 p.m. according to Plainfield Fire Chief Joel Thacker.
Captain Jill Lees of Plainfield Police confirmed that a person died in a forklift-related accident. Monday, she confirmed the victim was 59-year-old Phillip Terry of Indianapolis.
Lees said detectives would conduct an investigation into the death.
