Vanguard Update 1.17 Patch Notes Today (April 26)

A brand new update for Call of Duty: Vanguard is set to go live later today (April 26), as preparations for Season Three officially begin.

Alongside some brand new content for players to jump in with Season Three, the latest Call of Duty: Vanguard update is also expected to bring plenty of fixes, weapon adjustments, and general improvements.

The latest Vanguard will be available to download at 9AM PT / 5PM BST, but fans won’t notice any changes or new content until Season Three kicks off on April 27. Whilst you wait for the beginning of a brand new season, here’s everything you need to know surrounding the April 26 Call of Duty: Vanguard update.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Update 1.17 Patch Notes (April 26)

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this article, Sledgehammer Games hasn’t released the official patch notes for the April 26 Call of Duty: Vanguard update. However, we do know that today’s update is in preparation for Season Three: Classified Arms, which comes to both Vanguard and Warzone on April 27.

Full patch notes are expected to arrive before the launch of Season Three tomorrow, so make sure to check back in soon as we will be updating this article with the full details once they are released. In the meantime, here’s everything coming to both Vanguard and Warzone in Season Three.

Call of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone – Season Three ‘Classified Arms’

Season Three: Classified Arms comes to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone on Wednesday, April 27th at 9AM PT with a brand new Battle Pass, store bundles, weapons, maps, and more.

Two new weapons arrive with the launch of Season Three, the M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle. Alongside some new guns to level up, Vanguard players can also expect the following content during the new season:

• Mayhem Map, Trophy System Coming at Launch. Tower over your opponents and a mock city in a new small-sized map, using the Trophy System to defend your squad from incoming projectiles.
• A New Ranked Season Begins. Begin a new ascent to the Top 250 as you earn new Weapon Blueprints, Camos, Charms, and more in Ranked Play.
• The Road Ahead for Vanguard Zombies. In addition to 20 new Season Challenges and the introduction of fresh Battle Pass weaponry, Treyarch has shared their plans for the future of Vanguard Zombies.
