Trend Alert: Oxford Shoes Are About To Be All The Rage
And they're not just all over Hollywood--the English brogue company Grenson is upping the fashion ante with a collaboration from designer Olivia Morris that takes the manly shoe to a sweet, highly feminized place with heart shaped cutouts, purple satin laces, and pretty patent finishes. The Cut is loving brightly colored pairs from Topshop and 3.1 Phillip Lim. And I've already spotted a handful of early adopters wearing 'em all over New York's East Village.
Here's what you can wear yours with: EVERYTHING. They look great with or without socks, with skinny jeans or cropped pants, with skirts and dresses, shorts and capris. And they're incredibly comfortable, which I can't quite claim for the aforementioned over-the-knee boots.
