Traffic signals in Matthews repaired after brief power outage – WSOC TV
MATTHEWS, N.C. — Three traffic signals have been repaired after a brief power outage, according to the Matthews Police Department.
Around 5:30 a.m. police announced that the following areas had been affected:
- Highway 74 and Matthews Mint Hill Road
- Highway 51 and Northeast Parkway
- Highway 51 and Philips Road
However, just before 6 a.m. police said the power had been restored and all of the traffic signals were now operational.
The cause of the power outage is unknown at this time.
