A couple of weeks ago, Kim Kardashian wore a similar style, but in addition to plastic straps, hers featured a Lucite heel, which rendered them 100 percent see-through. The shoes were from Yeezy Season 2, naturally.

And at Cannes in May Kirsten Dunst took the look for a spin herself. Her sculptural PVC-strapped Ferragamo sandals helped modernize her ladylike Dior dress without competing for too much attention.
