Stiff iron shafts vs Regular

As mentioned in a previous post after my PING custom fitting i was told that stiff shafted irons suited my game from the regular shafts that i have always used.

I had never thought about stiff shafted irons if im honest and was sure that regular shafts suited me fine. Distance wise i was carrying around 165 yds with a 6 iron and around 155yds with an 8 iron but dispersion wise i was never consistent. Switch to the stiff shaft and distance was roughly the same but dispersion was much better.

I think you need to look more too dispersion consistency and less about distance. It doesnt really matter what club you use to hit the green but hitting the green does. If dispersion is better with regular then they are the shafts for you. Only my humble rather uneducated view but its a view none the less.
