Spy X Family Anime Release Date Officially Confirmed

We finally have a release date for the Spy x Family anime series, and here’s everything you need to know about it.

Written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo, Spy x Family is a top-rated manga series. Millions of readers love following the journey of Twilight, Thorn Princess, and Anya Forger.

The community was looking forward to the manga getting adapted into an anime series. Well, Wit Studio surprised fans by announcing the anime adaptation of Spy x Family last year. The Attack on Titan (the first three seasons) and Vinland Saga studio is collaborating with Clover Works for the upcoming project.

Spy x Family Anime Gets a Release Date

On March 6th, 2022, Wit Studio and Clover Works confirmed that Season 1 of Spy x Family anime would release on April 9th, 2022. So, we are only one month away from getting the much-awaited anime adaptation.

Interestingly, the release date for Spy x Family is accompanied by a new key visual. In the teaser image, we can see Twilight, Thorn Princess, and Anya Forger heading out for a walk on the street. Here you go; take a look at the official visual yourself:

Apart from that, it’s also known that the first season would be split into two-cours. So, the anime will take a long break after releasing Part 1 of the season.

Wit Studio is known for its incredible work in anime series like Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga. On the other hand, Clover Works has worked on projects like The Promised Neverland and Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time. So, it’s obvious that fans have high expectations from Spy x Family.
