Small Tribe Servers Come to ARK: Survival Evolved
The Small Tribe servers limit tribe sizes to a maximum of six players. Alliances are not allowed, and gameplay will not be affected by Evolution Events. Harvesting, taming and experience accumulation will occur at 3x the normal rate, while maturation, egg hatching and gestation will occur at double the normal rate. Meanwhile, mating interval has been reduced by 50%. Players will get to trial these servers for 60 days. If the servers still have an active player count after this period of time, the servers will be kept active. However, if the player population is very low after this period of time, the servers will be repurposed and a new game mode type will be trialled for another 60 days.
At the moment, the number of Small Tribe servers available is very low and a lot of players are unable to access them because they are full. The team hopes to be able to offer more Small Tribe servers once they've reclaimed and repurposed some of the less popular Legacy servers. On June 12th, the following Xbox servers will be taken offline and you have until that date to transfer all of your belongings onto a server that isn't on the list below.
If you need to move your belongings and you haven't done so before, you can upload your items, creatures, and player through the Obelisk terminal, supply drops, or the Tek Transmitter. So that you then don't lose any progress, the team recommends you immediately use Cross-ARK to relocate these belongings onto a server that isn't included on the list above.
Finally, the team will be giving out an Evolution Event perk this weekend to all players. From 1 PM EST on June 8th to 3 PM EST on June 11th, all official servers will benefit from double harvesting rates, double taming rates and double EXP rates.
