There was a small fire along the freeway Sat. as I'm going to church. I knew about it on the radio and knew a way around it but the freeway was going good so I stayed on and got caught in a traffic jam.

The had parked a firetruck crossways on the freeway taking up 3 lanes and only one lane for traffic when I finally got there. Absolutly no need for that, they could have taken 2 lanes at the most. Really pisses me off when those in authority flaunt their ability to make life misarable for thousends just because they can.

V8 - If you saw the carnage that stupid, inattentive drivers do to my brother firefighters, police officers and EMS, you'd understand why they do that.  Most people could give a rat's a$$ about what we are doing.  I am part of a department that does fire and EMS to the NJ Turnpike.  Fife will mostly agree with me....those people could care less what you are doing, they are busy with their I phones and texting and music and whatever else will distract them from driving responsibly.

I understand your frustration, but this isn't because the authorities can do it, it's to safe guard our police, fire and ems - My fiancee, my Mom and my daughter all want me home alive.

Synopsis of the weekend - Took Jenni to the doctor's office on Friday, and opened a joint account. Saturday took Mom to breakfast and did 1.5 lawns - I broke the deck on the riding mower at Jenni's there are numerous stumps hiding in the grass, I thought I missed it, but something broke - that will be a project for next Saturday or Sunday.  

Spent 4 hours on the Magnum yesterday and same result - not shifting.  Speed Sensor fault and TCM fault.....not sure what my next move it at this point.  We made all the right calls on this one and still same result.

Line/Exec meeting tonight, then run over to Jenni's for a bit to clean the guinea pig cage and bring her left overs from the weekend.

Off tomorrow night, Thursday night regular company meeting and NY Electric Trains big no shipping cost sale.  

Friday - 9/11 I'm thinking of head to NYC for a bike ride to Ground Zero and still planning either Sunset Beach (Cape May) ceremony or Jersey City and Bayonne for Tribute Lights and the Tear Drop.
