Pike High School investigating apparent sex video recorded at school

Two high school students are in trouble after video of them in what appears to be a sex act was posted on social media. The teens are Pike High School students.

Two high school students are in trouble after video of them in what appears to be a sex act was posted on social media. The teens are Pike High School students. The recording reportedly took place in the freshmen center.

Nearly everyone WTHR spoke to at Pike High School said they'd either seen or heard about it. School district officials are no exception.

The alleged sex act appears to have taken place while classes are going on and most of hallways are empty.

Two students can be heard talking to each other during the video, which shows a male and female student in one of the stairwells, on the floor in what appears to be a sexual act.

Some students and teachers have not ruled out this all being a prank for the end of the school year, but they still say it gives Pike High school a bad rap.

"This is not Pike behavior. This isn't how my school operates.I wouldn't consider expulsion but that is probably what Pike is going to do. I mean, they are pretty strict. I would just definitely talk to them before anything. This is something that they need to talk to them about," said Heran Siefu, Pike High School senior.

The school district sent Eyewitness News the following statement:

"We are aware of the video that was posted on social media which appears to depict two students engaged in inappropriate behavior. The situation has been dealt with and discussed with the students involved and their parents."

Even if it is a prank, a source tells Eyewitness News that this is not the first time the female student has been in trouble for such behavior.
