There was a floral print too, albeit one that felt a little saucier than most. A nude bodysuit was covered with creeping red roses and vines by designer Nicolas Jebran, making Miss Lopez look like a fairy-tale princess mixed with a villainous seductress.

There was a Jessica Rabbit moment too, courtesy of a wrap dress styled with long velvet gloves and tights cleverly designed to appear like retro thigh-high stockings. This was another of the night's Zuhair Murad pieces.
