Persona 3 Reload is Atlus’ latest release in the Megami Tensei spin-off franchise, the fourth to be exact, and the remake is led by the stoic high-school Protagonist whose world gets turned upside down when he joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.) to battle Shadows using Persona alter-egos.
It’s an intriguing premise to get your head around, and the fans seem to be loving this polished version of the original 2006 title. To celebrate the game’s release, a detailed figure of The Protagonist has been put up for pre-order, and it would make an excellent display piece for collectors. This 1:8 scale figure of The Protagonist from Persona 3 Reload is part of the Kotobukiya lineup and flaunts several in-game details. The character has a collected pose holding his Evoker and sporting The Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad armband and combat uniform. You can pre-order your figure from Entertainment Earth and the Big Bad Toy Store, or purchase through Play Asia for a slightly cheaper price.

ArtFX has presented a stunning figure to add to the J Line and the highly-detailed sculpt almost looks like it’s in motion. The wind-swept tassels from The Protagonist’s uniform and the character’s fluid pose certainly bring the figure to life and there’s also an elegance brought to the stance as well. This piece is particularly eye-catching thanks to the Protagonist’s iconic blue hair covering one eye, and this style is a popular trend across the Persona franchise. The figure also comes with a vibrant blue stand for security that makes the black of the character’s uniform pop. Made from ABS and PVC, this figure is high quality, justifying the price, and it’s a great modern model to celebrate the lead character, even if you’re a fan of the original game. The Protagonist figure is currently only available for pre-order and buyers will have to wait until August 2024 before units are dispatched. It’s a lengthy six-month wait, but we think the time and price will be worth it once you get a look at the Protagonist’s jacket details up close and personal.
