Really depends on the type of player!
Easiest to use Stableford to demonstrate.
For a course where SSS=Par, The Steady Eddie will pick up 2 points on loads of holes, a few 1-pointers and balancing 3-pointers.
The Wild Willie will score relatively few 2 pointers, several blobs and balancing 3+ pointers!

And that's pretty much irrespective of handicap - though lower handicaps tend to, or at least seem to, be more Steady Eddie types - if from all over the course!
