Out of Sync body drills!

Ouch....not good. Bad luck...

When it's gone (tempo/balance/turn) it's very hard to get it back, especially out on the course.

What I do is go to the range with a big bucket, a few drinks and my "let's get this better, even if not cured tonight" head on. I also leave my woods at home!!!

1) I make a T on the mat to check my alignment.
2) start the practice with a baseball swing warm-up making extra sure that the hub (my body) is controlling the swing, not my hands
3) Swing some 3/4 7 irons clipping the rubber tee, practicing "thumbs up" (Faldo style)
4) put a ball under each foot (toe) and avoid the leaning forward that also contributes to a shank. swing a few 9 irons.
5) start making full swings (without balls under feet!!!) and DELIBERATELY avoid spinning the top half of my body towards the target through impact, (like trying to block it on purpose) I let the body turn as late as possible, then work on a picture-perfect finish.

This fixes me in a session or two, but you'll find some good drills through a Google, I found a load of good stuff. I typed in "collapse through impact" golf.....and found some really helpful stuff.
