The Devil fruits in One Piece are one of the biggest strengths and a mystery that has been unanswered for a long time. No one knows from where they came and how they work. The only thing known about them is that they can provide the user with some ridiculous powers, but in exchange, it takes away their ability to swim entirely.
The three main classes of these fruits are Zoan, which gives its user the ability to change into both an animal and an animal hybrid; Logia, which gives its user the ability to create, control, and change their body into a natural element; and Paramecia, which gives its user access to a wide range of unusual abilities that do not fall into the other two categories.

Aokiji’s Kuzan’s Devil Fruit And Its Powers
Kuzan, formerly known by the alias Aokiji, is the captain of the tenth ship and one of the Ten Titanic Captains of the Blackbeard Pirates. Having been trained by Monkey D. Garp, he was a Marine Admiral before joining Blackbeard’s crew.
Kuzan consumed the Hie Hie no Mi, a Devil Fruit similar to a Logia, that gives him the ability to create, manipulate, and change his body into ice. While engaged in combat, Kuzan can craft more complex weapons, such as a massive bird that can be hurled at adversaries, in addition to more basic weapons like swords and spears.
Kuzan has the ability to instantly render opponents helpless by freezing them solid upon impact or by projecting waves of ice at a distance. But that’s not all that Kuzan can do with his devil fruit abilities. Kuzan has managed to cheat the curse of the devil fruit and is probably the only one to do so.
Kuzan is Able to Cheat The Underwater Rule of Devil Fruits
Kuzan can spread his ice over incredibly large areas. He can quickly ice over multiple square kilometers of ocean by dipping his hand in the water, or he can use icy beams shot from his hands to turn mountainous tsunamis into icebergs in the same amount of time.
Kuzan can also enter the water by freezing it before he can go below the surface, avoiding his weakness in it. He can also do so without touching the water, which helps him travel through by using just a bicycle.
Being the only one with the ability to do so, helps him circumvent the underwater rule of the curse of the devil fruits. This not only keeps him from drowning but also enables him to stop enemies from making a sea escape. This is truly an astonishing ability as it helps him cheat the biggest weakness of devil fruits.
