Newton, Olsen show off acting chops in new commercial – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers’ stars Cam Newton and Greg Olsen have developed a strong chemistry on the playing field, and are now showcasing it on the small-screen.

The quarterback-tight end tandem showed off their acting chops in a new Gatorade commercial, and the end product is pretty fun.

In the commercial, the MVP candidate shows up in the locker room and tells his tight end to get out of his lucky ice tank, but Olsen has headphones on and doesn’t hear the quarterback.

When Newton finally gets Olsen’s attention, the Pro Bowl tight end dismisses him with a wave of his hand.

It appears Cam’s superstitions are strong because instead of grabbing another tank, the QB decides to climb in with his teammate.

Is the "lucky tank" responsible for the Panthers 12-0 start?
