How To Find Iron In New World
Iron can be used to make weapons, armor, finish town projects, trade for other items, and level up your crafting in New World. To obtain iron, it must be smelted from iron ores — which can be harvested from iron ore veins using a pickaxe.
In New World, iron ores can be easily found in lower-level zones, and in higher-level areas, you can check out the caves on hills and mountains.
The easiest way to find iron ore locations is to open up the map and click on the Resource Locations. This will open up a window highlighting the places where you can find such resources.
