Mixed reactions as Paul Okoye and girlfriend share contrary opinions about what men want
Mixed emotions have poured in after prominent Nigerian singer Paul Okoye and his girlfriend Ivy Ifeoma shared their views on what really want in a relationship.
After divorcing his wife, Anita, in February 2023, musician Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, revealed that a woman who is highly schooled and disciplined is meant to respect her man, noting that men often appreciate respect even more than love.

Paul Okoye wrote; “For men…sometimes is not all about love. Respect…is all that matters!!!.”
However, in a recent remark, Ivy Ifeoma, the girlfriend of musician Paul Okoye, created a stir on social media with her contradicting statement.
She observed that men loved to demand respect as if their lives depended on it, despite the fact that respect is earned. She also advised guys to “stop acting like a dog” and start treating people with respect.
Ivy Ifeoma wrote; “Men don’t need love, all they need is respect”
She added; “These are two different things, bro If that’s all you need, what’s the difference between your partner and any random person. ’cause anyone can respect you… But there’s respect in love too, And those men that keep demanding respect up and down like their lives depend on it, hope you know it’s earned? Stop acting like a dog and treat others with respect too.”
