Master Of Iron Fist achievement in Tekken 7

Once you finish the main story mode, you unlock this final chapter.

Before you begin, I highly recommend setting a button to LK+HK, because this is going to be the main command you'll be spamming.

The easiest way to win this is to constantly go for the LK+HK command called "Devil Blaster" from as far away as possible and to hit the command a second time in the air to hit "Reverse Devil Blaster" whenever Akuma gets to about mid-range or closer. This move does enough damage that, even if you miss it often, Akuma's health won't restore enough to nullify the damage over time.

Most of the time, the regular Devil Blaster will miss, but it has advantages:

- If you go for it from full screen and Akuma tries a fireball or especially a triple fireball, you'll jump over it and guarantee a hit

- Akuma will try to side-step it and be too far away to gain ground, so he won't get up close with one full-screen miss

- Occasionally, Akuma will try to move in too early, get hit, and knocked back full-screen, so you can repeat the process.

When he gets to mid-range or closer, or if you see him winding up a charged attack, use the Reverse Devil Blaster:

- This will create a lot of space and, usually, Akuma won't punish you too badly if he catches up

- If your attempt for regular Devil Blaster isn't aligned to hit, the Reverse will realign for a clean shot, which is vital because...

- ...Akuma will usually try to land a powerful blow that keeps himself standing still or moving forward when he gets closer; if you trigger the Reverse, you'll avoid the attack and it'll take too long for Akuma to recover, virtually guaranteeing a hit.

If you need to create space, hitting back + LK+HK quickly teleports you backward, away from most of Akuma's attacks, and quickly getting you back at the full-screen distance to reset your attacks. This is also useful once landing from a missed Devil Blaster because Akuma will likely try a big, long strike, and you can usually avoid them by immediately teleporting backward.

Repeat these three steps as needed and you'll get him to the final part relatively easily once you learn Akuma's main attacks. I tried for nearly an hour to do what the other guides said to little success. Once I learned this formula, I beat him on the second attempt trying it.

A mid-match cutscene will play indicating when Akuma's about to launch his final attack, which can only be beaten with a Rage Art. Hit it just as he gets within kicking range, and you'll win the fight and get the achievement.

If you use this Devil Blaster + distance technique, you'll usually be more than far enough away to easily time your rage art to end the fight, and very rarely did Akuma try to hit his rage art earlier in the fight when I used this technique.
