Marie Kondo: KonMarie Folding Clothes, Organizing; How to Kondo Clothes

Socks on the left, short-sleeve tees on the right.

Bathing suits on the left (he swims twice a day at camp in the summer), shorts on the right.

Tiny boxer briefs on the left (!), summer pajamas on the right.

The only problem is, this isn't all of his clothes. Marie insists one dresser should be enough for ALL of your clothing if you only keep the stuff you love. But you might notice there are no pants there, and there are also no long-sleeve T-shirts or winter pajamas. I also used a drawer divider to section off the bottom drawer. Marie doesn't like drawer dividers, but I couldn't figure out how to store his tiny summer pajama tops and bottoms otherwise. Clearly it's a work in progress.

Marie says your clothes shouldn't be organized in plain old stacks, because the stuff on the bottom gets squished and neglected, and the whole stack gets janky if you try to grab something from the middle. By folding your clothes into little packets and organizing them in a row, you can clearly see everything you have available—no shuffling stacks or overlooking the squished T-shirts on the bottom—and grab what you want without disrupting everything else.
