“Looking badass in the outfit” – Pro golfer Nelly Korda rocks Blackhawks jersey at CP Women’s Open

On Thursday, professional golfer Nelly Korda gave her boyfriend Andreas Athanasiou a shoutout at the CP Women’s Open in Ottawa. Nelly is currently ranked No. 3 on the LPGA Tour.

Her boyfriend Andreas Athanasiou joined the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League after signing a 1-year $3 million contract on July 13, 2022. Apart from Blackhawk, he’s also been part of the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, and Los Angeles Kings.

Nelly Korda honors her boyfriend Andreas Athanasiou by wearing a Blackhawks jersey

During CP Women’s Open Nelly wore a Blackhawks jersey on the 17th hole, while LPGA posted her picture on their Twitter account. She wore the jersey to honor her boyfriend joining the new team.

She is -4 (T6) through the first round of the tournament. The Open event will continue till August 28th. Nelly won 7 times and topped the No. 1 position in the Women’s World Golf Ranking. She is also an Olympic gold winner in the women’s individual golf event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan.
