Kylie Jenner Accessorizes With a Giant Faux Lion Head for Paris Fashion Week

The majestic lion head on Jenner’s shoulder adorns a luxe, body-skimming black dress in ruched velvet, which she paired with shoes made to look as if her toes had been dipped in molten gold. A snakeskin patterned purse and oversized gold earrings completed the ensemble.

The lion head was one of three creations for Schiaparelli’s Inferno Couture, along with the leopard and the she-wolf. These, per the brand’s IG post, represent, “lust, pride, and avarice in Dante’s iconic allegory.” Jenner thanked Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry in her post, writing, “wow i loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. beautiful beautiful 🦁🦁🫶🏻.” Roseberry wrote on IG that the three animals are “celebrating the glory of nature and guarding the woman who wears it.”

Now that Kylie Jenner’s son is no longer named Wolf, the lion is perhaps the better representation of the woman who once self-identified as “King Kylie.”
