Kill the Justice League leak seemingly confirms battle pass

A new leak has revealed that Rocksteady's upcoming action-adventure game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will feature live service elements such as a battle pass.

A leaked screenshot which is currently doing the rounds on various social media sites and has been verified by VGC, shows what appears to be a player gearing up for a mission in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with various characters shown on screen. However, people online have been quick to point out the multiple currencies and the 'Battle Pass' menu at the top of the screen and are worried about how deep the live service elements will run in the game.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will include a battle pass

According to VGC, this image is from a recent test build of the game, and a development source has told the website that a battle pass is planned for the game, though it will be for cosmetic items, such as skins. The currencies shown at the top of the screen are apparently XP used to power up and unlock skills on a skill tree for each player.

"You don’t start off debuffed and weak," a development source told VGC. "You just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight’s Batman."

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will launch on May 26th on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. Will you be playing this one at launch? Let us know down in the comments.
