Jason Aldean's career is taking off. He was riding a bus in his video for "The Truth," now he's flying first class in the music video for his latest single, "Flyover States."
At least it will look like first class when the video comes out. He recently shot the music video at the Smyrna Airport outside Nashville in what he called an "airplane graveyard." One scene was filmed inside an old plane, and he was afraid there might be asbestos lying around.
Aldean says the song is meant to honor the American farmer, the truck drivers and Middle Americans that "are the backbone of the country." He almost put it on his last album, "Wide Open," but he ran out of room.
"Flyover States" is the fifth single off Aldean's multiplatinum "My Kinda Party" album.
