Is Boruto Stronger Than Naruto: 3 Reasons Why Naruto is Not the Most Powerful Shinobi Anymore
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has only released six chapters now, and still, it has managed to bring out an exciting storyline that has captured all fan’s attention. Although the story has just begun, it has proved that Boruto, after the time skip, has become possibly the strongest shinobi, both Naruto and Boruto’s world have ever seen.
Compared to Naruto, Boruto has shown more improvement from his time skip training, displaying new abilities, and a transformed personality. In just three years, Boruto has surpassed all previous ninjas in power, even his father Naruto. Since we’ve only just seen the beginning of Two Blue Vortex, it’s difficult to refute Boruto’s strength.
Throughout the course of the series, Boruto’s true capacity for power will become apparent and acknowledged as the strongest. But that means one disappointing thing for Naruto fans. Boruto becoming the strongest means Naruto is not the most powerful shinobi anymore. There are three reasons why Naruto has lost the title of the strongest shinobi in Boruto.
1. Naruto Lost Kurama
Following the loss of Kurama, one of his Tailed Beasts, Naruto Uzumaki, who was once the strongest character in the Naruto universe, has become much weaker. Naruto was able to stop Isshiki and defeat him in combat by using the dual-edged sword known as Baryon Mode. The cost of this, though, was high since Kurama used up all of his chakra before vanishing completely, leaving Naruto all by himself and, more significantly, only a shadow of the man he once was.
Even though Naruto was more powerful without Kurama, the tailed beast was the primary source of his strength and greatly aided him in pivotal battles. Naruto no longer holds the title of the strongest shinobi because of Kurama’s loss, which has made him much weaker.
2. Boruto’s Time Skip Training Made Him Much Stronger
A time jump is frequently an important turning point in shonen anime, particularly when it is associated with training. The cast’s youthful heroes emerge from it stronger and older than before. Fans have seen so far that Boruto may have benefited more from his three years of training outside of the village than Naruto did from his time skip. Boruto has surpassed all previous ninjas in history, including his father Naruto, in power in just three years.
Furthermore, Boruto has shown off some moves that are very distinctly different from his previous ability before the time skip. His Rasengan Uzuhiko has shown more raw power than the Rasengans shown by Naruto.
3. Boruto Was Destined To Be Stronger Than Naruto
At age twelve, Boruto was a formidable shinobi thanks to his inheritance of his mother’s intelligence and father’s talent. With that degree of strength and intelligence in addition to Sasuke’s training, Boruto was headed for greatness. Because he is smarter and more talented than his father, Boruto has always been predestined to be stronger than him. All he needed was some experience and a circumstance that was bad enough to make him grow.
In addition to his training from the time skip, Boruto may also be able to use Sage Mode at this point because the previous chapters alluded to his training with Kashin Koji and the Toads, which instantly makes him more powerful than his father.
