India’s Athletes to Watch at the 2022 CWG

After winning seven medals at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, India is in an excellent position to have their best-ever showing at a multi-nation event. But unfortunately, Neeraj Chopra, an Olympic champion, had to drop out of the games because he hurt his groin. The 205-person Indian team, on the other hand, has plenty of medal hopefuls.

Since shooting is not part of this year’s CWG , India’s medal hopes will depend on Olympic medalists PV Sindhu, Mirabai Chanu, Lovlina Borgohain, Bajrang Punia, and the Indian men’s hockey team. Manika Batra, a paddler, and the India Women’s Cricket Team are also expected to do well at the games.
