If you don’t have N500k in your account, you’re living in poverty – Daddy Freeze says

Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said that anyone who does not have up to N500,000 in their account is poor.

The talk show host said this in a video he posted on his Instagram page on Monday 15th May 2023, captioned, “0.6% Of Nigerians Have Up To N500k In Their Bank Accounts A Study Suggests. Some People Are Saying You Can Live Comfortably With Less Than 500k Saved Up. I Totally Disagree.”

According to Daddy Freeze, a person who does not have a lump sum of N500,000 in all their accounts is living in poverty, unless they live in a village.

In his words, “If you do not have 500k cash in all your accounts joined together, you are living in poverty unless you live in a village. If you live in Lagos, Port Harcourt or Abuja and you don’t have 500k you will always live a substandard life.”
