‘I did it’ – Rema excited as he achieves 3-year dream of ‘shutting down’ concert in India

Nigerian afrobeat sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has expressed his delight at fulfilling his dream of headlining a performance in India.

The Mavin singer, who is presently on his Indian Tour, turned to social media on Monday 15th May 2023, to share a video of an old interview in which he discussed his desire to expand the Afrobeats movement to India.

In the 2020 clip, Rema asked why Nigerian musicians weren’t breaking into the Indian music market like they were in Europe and America.
