How To Unlock All Characters

With a brand new DLC, Tides of the Foscari, available to players of Vampire Survivors, more characters with unique weapons can be unlocked. However, getting these won't always be as simple as just defeating a stage.

As you are thrown into the new regions of Lake Foscari and Abyss Foscari, we will guide you through how you can progress through the game and get these coveted characters.
New Characters In Tides Of The Foscari
Within the DLC Tides of the Foscari, there are eight new characters for you to discover and unlock. Each will have their own unique abilities and weapons to aid you in battle. These new characters include:
- Eleanor Uziron
- Genevieve Gruyère
- Je-Ne-Viv
- Keitha Muort
- Luminaire Foscari
- Maruto Cuts
- Rottin'Ghoul
- Sammy
Each character will have a different method for obtaining them, as well as a wide variety of costs.

How To Unlock Every Character
In this section, you will learn more about each new character and their abilities, as well as how you can go about obtaining them in the game. To make the process easier for you, we will provide a few tips and tricks to get the characters as quick as possible.

Eleanor Uziron | Gets SpellStream at Level 10 and SpellStrike at Level 20. Gets Academy Badge at Level 30. | Discover and open the coffin in Lake Foscari. You can do this by finding the question mark symbol on the map, and arriving here. A ring of enemies will appear, and once you defeat them all, you can walk over the coffin to open it up and receive Eleanor. | 500 |
Genevieve Gruyère | Opens up a vacuum when leveling up. Once per life, will trigger World Eater after getting Fatal Damage. | Must discover and destroy the Seal of the Banished in Abyss Foscari with Eleanor. You can find this on the western side of the map, nearby to a Stone Mask and Attractorb. | 5,000 |
Je-Ne-Viv | It will completely eat the world. | Must defeat 100,000 enemies with Genevieve Gruyère in a single run. This is self-explanatory; you will first need to unlock Genevieve and then destroy as many enemies as possible in one run. | 50,000 |
Keitha Muort | Receives +1% luck with each level. Receives Academy Badge at Level 30. | Can be obtained after evolving the Eskizzibur into Legionnaire. You can do this by getting Eskizzibur and Armor, and leveling them up to their maximum level. | 3,000 |
Luminaire Foscari | Gains a Rosary after leveling up. Will get a temporary Might, Cooldown, and MoveSpeed bonus after revival. | Must break the Seal of the Abyss in Abyss Foscari with Maruto. You can find this at the bottom of the map, towards the west. You must use Maruto and his Legionnaire to destroy it. | 5,000 |
Maruto Cuts | Gets a temporary Armor bonus after receiving damage. Will receive the Academy Badge at Level 30. | Can be obtained by bringing SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike together in a union. You can do this by bringing all three weapons to level 6, and opening a treasure chest. | 3,000 |
Rottin'Ghoul | Receives more projectiles every 20 levels with a maximum of +4. | Must defeat 6,000 Rotting Ghoul enemies to unlock. You can find this enemy in the Abyss Foscari stage. | 500 |
Sammy | Receives XP after picking up gold coins and coin bags. Has reduced Might. | Must defeat 6,000 Sammies. This enemy can be found within the Lake Foscari stage, usually at random. | 500 |
