How Friends Foreshadowed Its Celebrity Guest Stars

Like most Friends fanatics, there are lots of reasons we cannot get enough of the show. But one of the best parts of having every episode at our disposal (thanks, Netflix!)? There are so many things we're picking up on now that we definitely didn't the first (or second or third) time around watching. (For example, we recently were amazed about this weird thing with Phoebe and her brother.)

And now there's a new discovery: Friends was known for having a constant stream of amazing A-list guest stars. But we bet you never realized how sneaky the show was when it came to foreshadowing which bold-face names would one day hang with the gang. Thanks to one savvy Reddit user who connected the dots, let's take a look at how Friends dropped those major hints:

Kathleen Turner and Susan Sarandon

In "The One With Frank, Jr." (season three, episode five), Chandler reveals a list of celebrities that he's allowed to sleep with—and it wouldn't count as cheating (he was dating Janice at the time). His list includes: Kim Basinger, Cindy Crawford, Halle Berry, Yasmine Bleeth, and Jessica Rabbit.

Jessica Rabbit was, of course, voiced by Kathleen Turner, who appeared on Friends in "The One With Chandler's Dad" (season seven, episode 22). She played none other than Chandler's Las Vegas showgirl of a dad...

It's also worth noting that Baywatch star Yasmine Bleeth makes the cut on Chandler's list too. And, just 16 episodes later in "The One With the Chick and the Duck," Chandler names his new pet chick, yep, "Yasmine."

Not one to be left out, Ross makes a list of celebrities too, which includes Susan Sarandon. She later shows up in "The One With Joey's New Brain" (season seven, episode 16) as a fellow Days of Our Lives costar and love interest for Joey:
