Halo Infinite Loading Map 35 Fix
Many players have run into a bug leaving Halo Infinite loading the map to 35 then stopping.
Halo Infinite has recently launched their multiplayer mode early, allowing players to go head to head on the battlefield ahead of the believed release date.
Although this is a welcomed event for those who were eagerly awaiting the latest title in the series, new releases tend to bring a fair few issues.
One of the latest bugs involves players being unable to load their map in its entirety, lets see if we can fix that.
Halo Infinite Loading Map 35% Fix
As mentioned earlier, players are finding themselves unable to get past a loading point of 35 when using their maps.
Some found that backing out using B and trying to reenter the map would load it to 54 but would then stop.
This seems to only be a PC issue and so it looks like this may be a problem relating to memory. So far, no players on console have reported the same issue.
Check Your RAM
Usually, when a title isn’t able to load something to its full extent it means that there isn’t enough memory able to do so.
Delete Game Cache Files
According to a member on Reddit, they found that deleting their games game cache files resolved the issue preventing the map from getting stuck loading to 35 and no further.
To do this, you’ll need to locate your cache files within your Steam folder, this varies to each computer so do some digging.
Once there you can delete those corresponding to Halo Infinite.
Verify Integrity Of Game Files
Sometimes your game files themselves will be corrupted so to solve this, you’ll need to check the integrity of the files.
Here are the exact instructions that are given directly by Steam on how to do so:
- Restart your computer and launch Steam
- Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game’s Library page on the far right
- From the drop down menu, select Properties…
- Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files… button
- Steam will verify the game’s files – this process may take several minutes
