Guinness Book of Records names 4-year-old kid as world’s youngest author

Saeed AlMheiri, a four-year-old child from Abu Dhabi, has become the Guinness Book of Records’ youngest male author.

His book, “The Elephant Saeed and the Bear,” which promotes kindness and empathy, has sold over 1,000 copies, establishing a new milestone for him.

According to Guinness World Records, the mark was verified on March 9, 2023.

AlDhabi, Saeed’s elder sister, is also a record holder, having set the world record for the youngest person to publish a bilingual book (female) and then breaking the record for the youngest person to publish a bilingual book series (female) when she was only 8 years and 239 days old.

Saeed’s parents, who are avid readers and writers themselves, urge their children to read and write as well. Ali AlMheiri, Saeed’s father, expressed his pride in his son’s accomplishment and hopes that it would inspire other children in the United Arab Emirates to follow their passions and interests.
