Homer summed it up nicely, only thing I would give it over the other mags was that the equipment reviews seemed more honest than some others.

I'd second that. I read a few issues in the day and quite enjoyed the alternative approach they took.

They obviously loved the game but took a different, slightly less reverential approach from the 3 main stream mags that can get a bit samey (I think I read 3 very similar interviews with Paul Lawrie in each mag the other month). And they actually looked like they were having fun and had a sense of humour, again something that can tend to go missing at times.

So I will give it a go. I am sure it was set up by some footballers, for some reason Phil Bab or Jason McAteer springs to mind. And there was also a Football punk I think? Although I may have dreamt this.
