Genshin Impact Yoimiya - Countdown to Release on America Server Revealed
Everyone knows Yoimiya is releasing today, August 10, in Genshin Impact, but you might be confused regarding the exact time when her banner will release on the North America server. Especially since you’ll spot many players on social media who already pulled Yoimiya while you’re still waiting. Here’s what’s happening.

Countdown to the Yoimiya gacha banner in Genshin Impact North America server
miHoYo officially announced Yoimiya will release at “18:00 Server Time” on August 10. The Genshin Impact North America server’s time is set one hour behind Eastern Time. In other words, Yoimiya will be releasing at 7 PM EST on the North America server. Click here to access the countdown to her release.
If you’re on Pacific Time, that’s 4 PM PST. Lastly, if you play on the America server, but live somewhere else in the world, we’ve got several time conversions for you here, which also works as a countdown.
As a side note, if you play on the Europe server, Yoimiya will be available at 1 PM EST. She will release at the earliest on the Asian and SAR servers at 6 AM EST. Starting then, you’ll see plenty of players who’ll be showing off their Yoimiya on social media, even though she won’t be released on the North America server yet.
This isn’t a bug or anything. Banners released in the middle of a Genshin Impact version, not after maintenance, always launch at different times like that. And players on the North America server always need to wait the longest time for the new banner to release.
As always, a new weapon banner will also be launching together with the new character.

Personally speaking, I won’t be pulling Yoimiya seeing the number of Pyro characters I already own. With that said you can also simply pull a character if you love them, regardless if you need them. I’d definitely do that if I was rolling in cash, especially with Yoimiya being voiced by Kana Ueda.
Moreover, if you’re hesitating between Yoimiya and the Raiden Shogun, who should be the banner after Yoimiya, keep in mind it’s very likely the Raiden Shogun will get a rerun in the future. Venti and Zhongli both got a rerun so it’s safe to assume the Shogun will too. Plus, before the countdown to Yoimiya ends on the America server, you still have some hours left to pull Ayaka.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action JRPG, available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Mobile. The game was also announced on Switch but has no release date on the platform yet.
