Genshin Impact Leaks 2.6 Banner Rerun 1st Half Explained

Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, iOS, Android) new leaks have emerged today, confirming the 5-star character and weapon banner rerun in the Version 2.6 update.

Genshin Impact is still one of the most popular anime-stylized games in the world, and what players want to know the most is which character will be featured in future banners, so they know whether they should save their Primogems or not. Now that the first banner rerun on Version 2.6 was leaked, there are several points all players should keep in mind.

Genshin Impact leaker Lumie reveals Venti banner rerun for Version 2.6

Genshin Impact leaker Lumie revealed that the banner for the new character Kamisato Ayato will run alongside a banner rerun for Venti. This isn’t the first time Venti gets a rerun in Genshin Impact. Venti was also the first-ever character on a limited banner when the game launched in September 2020. However, don’t get your hopes up for a Klee or Albedo rerun.

Venti coming back isn’t a banner rerun “pattern reset”

This is a good occasion to explain there is no pattern you can accurately predict when it comes to banner reruns in Genshin Impact. You shouldn’t expect that this is a “reset” or that the banner schedule has gone “full circle” now that Venti is getting a rerun again. There are no guarantees Klee will get a rerun next.

Genshin Impact Version 2.6 – 5-star weapon banner

Meanwhile, the 5-star weapon getting a rerun and shown on Lumie’s leak is the Elegy for the End 5-star bow. It’s supposed to be Venti’s “image weapon”. Personally speaking, I suggest only pulling on weapon banners if you’re a whale player who can afford to swipe, else it’s not worth it. There are 4-star weapons you could get that would do the job as Venti’s personal weapon pretty well, most notably the 4-star bow Stringless.

The 2.6 second half banner rerun haven’t leaked yet

The Ayato banner and the Venti rerun banner will last for three weeks, during the first half of Version 2.6. It’s important to note that banner reruns are never leaked early, and no one knows for now who are the characters in the second half of the patch. We’ll only know with the official live stream in a few days. Anything you see before that is speculation and shouldn’t be taken at face value.

Genshin Impact Version 2.6 will release on March 30, 2022, on PC, PlayStation, and Mobile. HoYoverse is still working on a Nintendo Switch version, but it has no release date yet. You can always ask me anything about the game in the comments below and on Twitter @A_iyane07.
