What Are Armored Walls In Fortnite?

Armored Walls are a new item in Fortnite that allows players to strengthen and reinforce their structures.

By using the Armored Walls, players can increase the HP of their structure significantly. Essentially, by using these Walls it’s going to make it a lot tougher for enemies to destroy your placed structures.

The Armored Wall is classed as a Trap and the stats for it can be found below:

  • Max Stack = 20
  • Arming Delay = 1.5
  • Durability = 27

It’s worth noting that Epic Games have stated that the new Armored Walls will NOT be appearing in Competitive. Armored Walls will be live in-game at 9AM ET on September 21st.

Where To Find Armored Walls

According to the official Fortnite Blog Post, Armored Walls can be found in Supply Drops and as general ground loot scattered across the island. There won’t be any specific location to find the new item, but the Blog Post does allude to them not being found or used inside of The Sideways.

How To Use Armored Walls

Armored Walls are classed as a Trap, which means they are used in the exact same way.

First, you’ll need to find an Armored Wall, build a structure, and then simply navigate to the new Armored Wall and place it onto your existing build.

Epic Games has also noted that players can build pieces with Armored Walls already attached, but how exactly this is accomplished hasn’t been revealed just yet. We will make sure to update this article with more details as soon as the new item goes live in-game.
