Encanto, Disney’s latest animated feature film about the story of an extraordinary family is coming to Disney Plus just in time for the holiday season, with the exact release time also being confirmed.
The reviews for Encanto are already in, and it looks to be another huge hit for Disney as it currently sits at a solid 91% on Rotten Tomatoes with over 160 reviews by critics. Fans are also loving the new Disney animation, with an audience score of 93%.

When Does Encanto Come Out On Disney Plus?
Encanto is available to watch now in theatres but will be arriving to Disney Plus on Friday, December 24th, 2021, just in time for the holiday season.
As with all new Disney Plus releases, the official release time for Encanto on Disney Plus is 12AM PT / 3AM ET / 8AM GMT.

Will Encanto Be Free On Disney Plus?
Yes, according to the official Disney Plus Help Twitter account, users will simply require a standard Disney Plus subscription to watch Encanto this Friday.
Certain major releases, such as Black Widow and Jungle Cruise required an extra charge as part of the ‘Premier Access’ if you wanted to watch them on day one. But thankfully Encanto will not be a part of the premier access feature, as long you’ve got a Disney Plus subscription you’re good to go.
