Riders Republic is developed by the same team which is responsible for developing Steep, so there are some similarities. However, it does stand out quite well on its own as well. Featuring some nail-biting and adrenaline-rushing matches, Riders Republic is pretty much a dream for lovers of extreme sports games.

Like with other multiplayer games, players are often eager to know if a particular game supports crossplay. Here is all you need to know about it.

Does Riders Republic Support Multiplayer Crossplay?

Well, if you are looking to play Riders Republic with your friends on other platforms, you will be quite elated to know that Ubisoft’s Riders Republic will indeed be supporting cross-play. Moreover, cross-gen play is also supported, meaning that players will be able to play with other players who are on previous-gen consoles as well.

While that’s quite good news for many players out there, it should be noted that there are certain limitations along the way as well. For instance, if you wish to play Mass Races, you will only be limited to playing alongside 20 other players. This number is raised to 50 for console and next-gen players.

The reason for the smaller lobbies of Mass Races is due to the hardware limitations of last-gen consoles. The hardware of last-gen consoles might not be able to handle 50 player races, so it has been reduced to 20 to ensure better overall performance.
