Former Dallas Mavericks star player Dirk Nowitzki was also one of them who got back at Gilbert Arena for criticizing Giannis. He said, “He (Giannis Antetokounmpo) is one of the best players in the world and has shown it as a champion and an MVP. He is the first one to tell you can always improve, but if you look at what he is done already at such a young age, he is one of the best,”

Giannis Antetokounmpo is regarded as one of the best players in the NBA league. His fiery game play and impressive skillset always leave the watchers star-struck. It will be up to Giannis now to improve and prove Gilbert Arena wrong this season with another MVP caliber campaign.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is becoming an unstoppable force who is trying to put any entire country on his back in the ongoing EuroBasket 2022 tournament. Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently averaging a jaw-dropping 26.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks through Greece’s first two games of the EuroBasket 2022 tournament. And with such a power-packed performance, Greece has managed to win both their matches. Antetokounmpo’s only goal is to cement his country’s legacy at tournament and lead his team to a medal win.

Greece won Gold at EuroBasket in 2005 and Silver at the 2006 FIBA World Cup, but the country has not been able to pocket even a single medal since then. At the age of 27, Giannis has achieved what other players of his age couldn’t manage. Taking his country to a medal win in EuroBasket 2022 will be another feather in his cap. Greece is scheduled to face Ukraine on 6th of September in the next round of the tournament.
