Christopher Laundrie works as a real estate agent, while Roberta Laundrie is a homemaker.
Personal Life
Married since 1989, Christopher and Roberta Laundrie are parents to two children, Brian and Cassie.
Involvement in the Gabby Petito Case
However, on September 1, 2021, Laundrie returned to his parents’ home in North Port, Florida, alone, without Petito.
Petito’s family reported her missing on September 11, 2021. Despite the investigation, Laundrie’s parents chose not to cooperate with the police.
On September 17, 2021, authorities officially labeled Laundrie a person of interest in Petito’s disappearance.
Tragically, just two days later, on September 19, 2021, they discovered Petito’s lifeless body in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
The investigation revealed that the cause of her death was strangulation.
On September 13, 2021, Laundrie disappeared, and later, on October 20, 2021, his lifeless body was located in a Florida nature reserve. His death was determined to be a suicide.
